Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi made the remarks while condemning the longstanding hostility of colonial and Zionist powers toward the Islamic Revolution of Iran. He said such forces have consistently opposed the revolution openly, imposed unjust sanctions, and resorted to every unethical means to undermine the Islamic Republic.
“In these circumstances, the people of Pakistan will not overlook any act of aggression,” Naqvi said. “They will not lag behind anyone in their friendship with the Islamic Revolution and will respond decisively.”
Referring to recent developments and unrest sparked by what he described as hostile elements in Iran, the senior Pakistani cleric said the Islamic Revolution was born out of a powerful popular movement under the leadership of Imam Khomeini and continues today under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei with the same resilience and legitimacy.
He added that global arrogance and Zionist forces have persistently sought to weaken Iran through pressure, sanctions, and subversive tactics. “At a time when the Iranian people have raised legitimate concerns over economic difficulties caused by unjust sanctions, and when the government has acknowledged these problems and committed itself to addressing them, hostile powers have once again attempted to hijack public protests for their own malicious agendas,” he said.
Naqvi warned that such interference, distortion of popular demands, and deliberate attempts to destabilize Iran would not remain confined within its borders. “Any act of aggression will have regional consequences,” he stressed.
He concluded by reiterating that the people of Pakistan stand firmly alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that in defending the Islamic Revolution and opposing oppression and interference, they will not fall behind anyone and will demonstrate a clear and resolute stance.
